This Privacy Policy explains how [Legal Entity Name] ("Stockwik," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Stockwik inventory planning application for Shopify (the "App"), the Stockwik website at stockwik.com (the "Site"), and related services (together, the "Services").
By installing the App or using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Our customers are Shopify merchants and the people who use the App on their behalf. The App also processes data drawn from a merchant's Shopify store. Where we process store or customer data on a merchant's behalf, we act as a processor (or "service provider") and the merchant is the controller of that data.
When you connect your Shopify store, the App accesses data through Shopify's APIs so it can plan and manage your inventory. This may include products and variants, inventory levels and locations, order and sales history, supplier and cost information, and related store records. We use this data to provide the Services to you, as described below.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:
We rely on the following subprocessors to provide the Services:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Shopify | Store connection (products, inventory, orders) and app subscription billing |
| Render | Application hosting and database — where Service data is stored and processed |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, content delivery, security, and the Site's contact-form function |
| Resend | Delivery of transactional and contact-form emails |
| Google Analytics (Google LLC) | Website and product usage analytics |
We retain personal and store data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After your account is closed or your subscription ends, we delete or anonymize the data within a commercially reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations, or to resolve disputes.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Merchants can also access and export much of their store data directly within the App and Shopify.
To make a request, contact us at info@stockwik.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. If we process data on behalf of a merchant (as a processor), we will direct relevant requests to that merchant.
We and our subprocessors may store and process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal information.
The App uses cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep the Services working. The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and, where applicable, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Services function.
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
