Installing Stockwik

Stockwik installs from the Shopify App Store and connects to your store in a few clicks. Here's what to expect.

Install from Shopify

  1. Find Stockwik in the Shopify App Store and click Install.
  2. Shopify shows a permissions screen listing what Stockwik needs access to. Click Install / Approve to continue.

What Stockwik can access

Stockwik asks for the minimum it needs to plan your inventory:

  • Read your products, inventory levels, locations, and order history (including your full sales history, so velocity is accurate beyond the recent window).
  • Write inventory — used only when you receive a purchase order, commit a count, or update a product's cost. Stockwik never changes your stock on its own.
Note
Shopify remains the source of truth for your stock. Stockwik mirrors your numbers and only writes back on actions you take.

After installing

Once installed, you'll:

  1. Choose a plan — every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. See Choosing a plan.
  2. Create your account — a quick signup with your details pre-filled from Shopify. See Creating your account.
  3. Run through the onboarding walkthrough to import your store and set your planning defaults.
Tip
Already installed? Opening Stockwik again from your Shopify admin takes you straight into the app — no need to reinstall or re-approve.
